Overall common but probably the most uncommon of the Moroccan Sand Sharks.

A classic Mackerel shark from the Eocene, believed to be the ancestor of the Megalodon.

Otodus obliquus

Early Eocene-Paleocene
50-60 Million Years Old

These teeth are noted for their wide triangular crown and large side cusps and occasionally multiple side cusps.

Cretolamna biauriculata

Late Cretaceous
70 Million Years Old

Difficult to find due to the fact that they come from a different area in Morocco than the more prevalent Eocene teeth.

Striatolamia macrota

Early Eocene-Paleocene
50-60 Million Years Old

This animal is an ancester of modern day Sand Sharks, the teeth are sometimes confused with other genera like Scapanorhynchus, Odontaspis and Carcharias.
